Traditionally, the Legislative Committee

  1. Keep track of, and report on developments in proposed state and local legislation of intrest to the security profession,
  2. Present testimony, when necessary, before the appropriate state and local governing bodies on behalf of the local chapter only, 
  3. Send a copy of any position taken on local or state legislation to Headquarters.
