In light of the pandemic, ASIS International will not conduct any in-person events until at least June 2021.
Meetings and 
professional development events hosted by the Omaha Heartland Chapter will be held online until then.
The annual GSX Conference planned for Atlanta has also transitioned to an online format.

Join us at the Greater Omaha Chamber for a presentation covering the general history and overview of the United States Secret Service, their jurisdiction, and the common progression of a Secret Service Agent. We will also discuss general security concepts, trends in counterfeit US Currency, and white collar crimes.

Paul Brandenburg is the Resident Agent in Charge of the Omaha Resident Office for the United States Secret Service. He has served with the Secret Service for 20 years. Prior to serving in Omaha, NE, Brandenburg was assigned to Secret Service Headquarters, Criminal Investigative Division as the Assistant to the Special Agent in Charge as the liaison between the Secret Service and the Department of Homeland Security’s National Cybersecurity Communications & Integration Center (NCCIC). Brandenburg was assigned to the Vice President’s detail for 6 years during the Obama/Biden Administration. He also served four years as the Assistant Attaché in Frankfurt, Germany after starting his career in Washington, DC, chasing counterfeiters and protecting our nation’s leaders and foreign heads of state.

Jeremy Carther is a Secret Service Special Agent with the Omaha Resident Office. He has been employed with the Secret Service for 2 years. Prior to becoming an agent, Carther was a Sergeant with the University of Nebraska Police Department for 5 years working in roles as a patrol officer and in investigations. Carther also served a stint in south Texas as a US Border Patrol Agent enforcing immigration law and combating human smuggling and drug smuggling.

Beginning this month, we will offer tickets either with or without lunch.  Members tickets will be $15 with lunch or free without lunch.  Guest tickets will be $20 with lunch or $5 without lunch.  This month's meal will be catered by Pickleman's.  If you choose a ticket with lunch, please send your meal choice from the Pickleman's delivery menu ( to [email protected].
