In light of the pandemic, ASIS International will not conduct any in-person events until at least June 2021.
Meetings and 
professional development events hosted by the Omaha Heartland Chapter will be held online until then.
The annual GSX Conference planned for Atlanta has also transitioned to an online format.

Please plan on joining us as we have a special presentation by one of our members, Todd Vettel.  This topic effects all of us and will be very interesting!  We also use these monthly meetings to network and enjoy fellowship among our industry professionals.

Topic:                             Global Security and Corporate Services-                                             Food Supply and Food Defense

Summary:                      This will be an informational presentation for those interested in learning more about food protection and defense from the perspective of a large agribusiness.  The presentation will detail Archer Daniels Midland Company and how it is involved in science-based modeling, how it's Global Security &Corporate Services department is structured to achieve risk mititgation, and basic history and review of intentional adulteration law and food defense.

 Presenter:                       Todd Vettel-ADM-Sr. Manager

About the Presenter:     *10 years with ADM, 2 years as plant operations manager, 8 years corporate management.

*Management of a team responsible for executive protection, food defense, DHS regulations, contract security personnel, maritime security, property and fleet management, M&A due diligence, and supply chain security.

Additional experience in the United States Marine Corps, food sciences at UNL, and business administration at Nebraska Wesleyan University.
